Do you see any reason why your flag, as a symbol of this unceded continent, should not be the banner to represents it? My feeling, respectfully, is that it would be unequivocal acknowledgment of your continuing sovereignty over the land.

My preference too for the Indigenous flag. It has a simplicity and purity that goes beyond other too self-conscious "designs" I've seen. Less is more. As for green and yellow (gold is a metal); in the psychology of colour these are the colours most associated with envy and cowardice. Really?

I must confess to an intense dislike of gambling fuelled, professional, spectator sport. But if the majority feel they really must have a team so be it; but it should not be at the cost of destroying the heart of a city I love. Let them build their arena for bread and circuses elsewhere.

Not just gullible; but mindless proselytisers for an impending financial disaster. To try and convince them otherwise is like arguing with children. I have a friend of 30 years, militantly, gloatingly pro-stadium, who I will most likely never speak to again. As you say; sad.

It's not hyperbole to say there will be lives lost because of this decision. Tassie can ill afford this money to be directed away from essential services such as health. Too many times, essential services are cut to pander to vanity projects with pie in the sky promises of financial gains. #politas
