I don't think I've made it to SD or back in 2 hours since the '00s, lol.

I try to avoid the 405 like hell but I was going back to the Valley.

I took the 15 once and it actually wasn't too bad. It's further out of the way but you do miss a lot of traffic.

Man, I am sorry, I should have recommended you take the Coastliner. It's actually pretty chill. I HATE driving to SD anymore, you used to be able to do it in 90-120 minutes and now it takes 3 hours if you're lucky. It once took me six hours on the 405.

Unfortunately with the heat and dry weather, it is ~*migraine season*~.

Work's been really up and down lately, too, which doesn't leave a lot of time for posting. I'm also still mulling over which comic I want to release next for my Friday thing.

Ahhh this is wayback machine territory, haha. I think a lot of games looped or were too hard to beat as a little kid, so I never beat them until later? I have a bad memory, too. If I can change the question to some cool games I remember having, we had Metal Storm on the NES, a pretty rare classic!

I don't really have favorites, it's usually something that fits the requirements of the scene. I've actually had to build up a fair-sized library over the years since I do tend to get pretty specific about font choices. Once I get a general idea of what I want, nothing else works.

Following normal comics bsky and reading technical books (on stuff like lettering, f.e.) really helped a ton. Lot of great info out there.

It took me a long time to feel prepared technically to tackle comics at the speed I wanted to make them. I practiced with one-shots or short four-pagers first.

I hate long projects! Everyone wants to do a big magnum opus webcomic, but that turned out to be a really bad fit for me. I like changing around the art style and switching characters every so often.

Comic panel layout is another thing I always want to improve on. There's a lot of things, haha.
