The American dream is unobtainable... For now. Last round We The People fought with Robber Barons, they lost power for what, three decades? I think this episode has been drastic enough to wake up the vast majority of Americans to the very real danger we & our democracy are in.

When enough Americans get fed up that they are willing to put jobs, stability, friends, even family relationships, even their bodies on the chopping block to stand up, speak up, and say NO MORE. There's millions of us, but we need even more people with courage. Lots are scared to lose jobs, etc.

Because if they stop burying their heads in the sand, they'll feel the guilt, horror, shame they should be feeling, and will have to Do Something to stop it. It's just easier and emotionally cheaper to pretend they don't know/it doesn't matter.

America has been thru worse. The Civil War. The Robber Barons. The civil rights era and the abuses that went with it. Vietnam and those abuses.
We have a lot of work ahead of us. But Americans are made of sterner stuff. We got rid of kings ~250 years ago, & we're not going back now. Or ever.
