I am an avid #cpfc fan, I host the @fiveyearplan.bsky.social Pod Extra and am a season ticket holder.

On Sunday evenings you’ll find me cheering on the 49ers.

I am also a huge #avgeek, and I love cycling and photography.
Uche came on today with a purpose. Bassey had been dominating in defence and Uche went in to destabilise him.

And it worked. They stopped having it so easy in defence. They stopped being able to push up on our midfield.

Uche is raw but I can see something about him. He’s not afraid. That helps.

Happy for Norris. Happy for McLaren. They’ve been excellent this season. Gutted for Piastri but he’ll win a title soon enough.

My wife is an immigrant. We’ve paid many thousands of pounds for her to live here. She contributes to society and to the economy. But this shit? It makes us feel unwelcome. It implies that she’s lesser because she’s not high earning, or an entrepreneur.

I’m revolted by this Tory-lite government.

Them: you need to do compliance training to use AI.
Me: That’s okay, I won’t use it.
Them: You still have to do it.

Now I’m watching a compliance video about technology I don’t want to use in a professional capacity, voiced over by a generative AI voice.

Shoot me.

Top tip.

With Black Friday upon us, you’ll get lots of emails from retailers and companies you’ve barely ever interacted with.

Now is the perfect time to open their emails, and click Unsubscribe.

I do it every year. It really helps to filter out the companies you actually want emails from.

It’s 24 hours since Ireland beat Hungary and I still can’t find highlights online.

What in the modern world of football is this nonsense?!

I find it hard to believe that Scotland don’t have a better defender than Grant Hanley to start for them.

He was a terrible selection four years ago, and has become less mobile and less capable since!

Deleted Facebook. Their algorithm feeding endlessly depressing news stories and highlighting scummy comments was enough.

News organisations need to do more to police their comments. Seeing thick racists defending Hitler with comments about watching his speeches translated by AI was the last straw.

Speaking of bellends. Tuchel bringing on Henderson instead of Wharton.

Brilliant talent, total bellend.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been sent off against Republic of Ireland.

With Portugal 2-0 down, Ronaldo threw an elbow into Dara O'Shea — and received his marching orders.

European refereeing really is just weak as shit, they don’t allow for any real physicality. It’s embarrassing.

Despite playing just 30 minutes, Yeremy Pino led Crystal Palace in:

-shots
-shot sequence involvements
-expected assists (xA)
-expected goal contributions (xG + xA)

He was also 2nd in passes into the pen. area & attempted Palace’s only shot on goal after the 8th minute.

I don’t often vote for the MOTM, but I did this time. Tyrick Mitchell was our best player today. He had the better of Minteh throughout.
