Annotate with me hypothetical proteins in VEuPathDB using plasmoRUtils to shortlist literature first and then generate a summary of genes using Prototype AI tool being developed by @veupathdb.org. here is a thread.

Annotated 26 hypothetical proteins manually in 2 days. Wanna know how? I ran searchGSC function in a loop every 5 minutes to mimic the manual query to retrieve article links from year 2019 to 2025 and dumped these results as CSV files. Some files will be empty while some will contain link to thesis

Once you review the description, add the comment to the database as user comment. Now you might ask too many hypothetical genes means too many CSV file, do I have to open all of them. No, just look at the file size, if it is 42 bytes then searchGSC didn't return any results.

Now go through the links one by one and query your gene ID. If its occurrence is more than 1 you might want to read. Also search gene ID + thesis author and you will get to the published article. Now you can use the VEuPathDB experimental AI paper summary tool to see if any function is detected.

Is it possible to have training on RIP-seq analysis and Co-IP data analysis?
