I've never had a job where I got bank holidays before (usually we get time off in lieu which is also useful, or would be if I wasn't still too American to use up my leave) and I've extra never had the actual local holidays before so I just discovered have a surprise long weekend 😀

We're gonna need a truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg style trials to reckon with all of this evil, and any Dem candidate for office who shies away from a full reckoning in the name of "moving forward as a nation" can get well and truly fucked

They say there are no rules in writing but 'delete boring stuff' is a pretty solid rule. If it's so boring you can't be bothered to write it, who do you think wants to read it?
i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!
Buy a solo indie dev's game because I want to support them.

I keep forgetting how awful I am at drawing but at least I think I'm getting better at having fun despite being awful at it. I tried for so long to get halfway decent and mostly I learned more ways to understand how bad I am and stopped having fun
