OpenAI Loses Key Discovery Battle as It Cedes Ground to Authors in AI Lawsuits
The issue has been a major battleground in discovery. OpenAI could be on the hook for hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars if it was aware it was infringing on copyrighted material.

Finally watched #Weapons - neat structure, a bucket full of tension and a clever way it peels away the mystery. It reminded me of early Stephen King in its examination of the lives of the characters.

In the UK, we’d describe today’s morning light as autumnal. What do people in the US say? It’s Fall-ish?

Free next week? Go and see the @filmstories.bsky.social live show in London! 🎥🎥🎥
Folks, I really need some help. For the last 10-15 days, I've been pretty much out of action, which has put me two weeks behind on promoting my Film Stories 500 show in London next week.

I'd be grateful for any help/support in getting the word out.

Thank you.

Don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it - but THAT series ended poorly. Having all the characters essentially being kept on hold in hopes of a second series. That’s not the finale I wanted.

I've had an idea...

Someone told me that cos there are nearly 800 episodes of the Simpsons, it's possible to describe all other shows with a clip from a Simpsons episode. So with that in mind, I'm going to use a freezeframe/gif to describe every classic Dr Who serial 😁 1 season per day...

Thanks to a friend pointing it out, I’ve realised that I put obscure Doctor Who references in most things that I write. Not even aware I’m doing it most of the time…
