She was treated unfairly, but let's be honest: the Imperial French mind was in no way ready for this.

You thought I said "free buses? No. No no no. I said 'free THE buses.'"

I walked past a group of schoolgirls and the alpha schoolgirl looked at me and muttered something in Irish and everyone laughed, I assume AT HER because what she said was clearly untrue and ridiculous.

Zookeepers tell News 7 the last thing the man screamed as he waded barechested across the moat and into the enclosure was "we are basically built to start fights and win them before the opponent can actually fight back. Nice claws buddy—"

Staffers emphasized Zoo Lights *will* proceed as scheduled.

Yep. That's why it was the better move to hold out. The current deal could be framed as saving SNAP and saving Thanksgiving instead of trying to convince the general public it was a good deal. To fold early was a failure.

Dems should've waited until SCOTUS was forced into taking the case or not. The stay only goes to Thursday. The damage to SNAP recipients is barely changed while the political pressure on the Senate majority grows exponentially. Dems blinked too early.

These projects seem fine to me, but it's been actual decades since I've been to a home game. My biggest worry with all these projects is the inevitable MASN in-game interview with Catie Griggs.

Anytime she's interviewed live we get lit up for like 8 runs. At least talk to her when we're hitting.

Huge cope. Tonight the 1st Circuit upheld the lower court's order for the admin to pay November SNAP benefits, as expected. Democrats should've forced the administration to appeal to SCOTUS, then taken this same exact deal in the name of averting actual disaster instead of caving.
November 10, 2025 at 6:13 AM
So why not hold off on a deal until the administration is forced to appeal their SNAP case in front of the Supreme Court? Make them go full ghoul mode. If SCOTUS rules they must pay, then you have more time. If SNAP is cut off, THEN you make this deal.
November 10, 2025 at 1:56 AM
I can't believe they're doing this before the SNAP payment appeal reaches the Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court were to cut off SNAP for November, THEN a deal like what's being proposed would actually look reasonable. Democrats save Thanksgiving AND get free 2026 campaign material.

Sen. Cassidy proposed pre-funding Flexible Savings Accounts for people. The amount would be determined by the difference in health care premiums after the subsidies expire.

It's incredibly dumb, but it was really fun watching a Republican earnestly pitching direct cash assistance.
