The best thing Virginia can do to protect itself from Trump is to elect the Statewide ticket and increase our majority in the HOD. A Republican AG can do a lot to make us more vulnerable to Trump.

George was too quick to fire managers, but Boone is a team spokesperson and ritual apologist who likes to argue balls and strikes. He, Cashman, and Hal are not desperate to win, which George was. And it's Gene Michael, not Cashman, that built the team that won 4 WSs.

He won't lose votes from the MAGA base, but that is not enogh to win. Very few low-engagement voters waiting for the Nazi-porn candidate to emerge, but there are probably a few. He certainly has the Nazi porn lane to himself.
