Has anyone watched the new Maigret series? The preview feels too contemporary for the series. I really liked Rowan Atkinson's portrayal a few years ago. Surprising because I'd never seen him in a non-comedic role.

Ozzie is back to being a cute little wall.
The antibiotics seem to be kicking in. Ozzie is more engaged and eating. He still had a fever yesterday morning, but it broke yesterday afternoon. Not back to rough housing with Django. Hopefully, we're on the other side of this.

Little man is going to the vet today. He's acting sick, sleeping a lot. Skipped two meals, and he's usually begging 24/7.

Ozzie was about 12 weeks when we brought him home. A requirement to adopt is that he be fixed, something that has to be done before bringing him home. We've had him for 3 months. Guess what? He ain't fixed.
After Thursday, he will be. And I'm a little worried. Poor Ozzie.

With so much cuteness, a foster fail is bound to happen. Glad you found a good home for the two girls. "Fuzz Butt" reminds me of our own void cat Django who turned 2 this last summer.
Congrats on the new kitty. The others will get used to him, I'm sure.

Last nights selection, random with no priority on favorite authors*, was "I Love the Dead" by @joshmalerman.bsky.social. It was a really good counterbalance to the previous night's selection of "Hope Boat."

We adopted Autumn about 21 summers ago, after we bought our first house. She grew into a beautiful floof... sorry, can't seem to find adult photos... now she is frail and yowls into the darkness. Not tonight, tonight she cries, she's ready to go but doesn't want to say goodbye. Nether am I.
