solid day of working on the cerritos model i’m building for my partner. light blocking done, a lot of bits and bobs painted. a little nervous about the handpaintedness of the transparent stuff (goddd that transparent paint is hard to handle!) but optimistic so far

so tonight’s Star Trek was Conspiracy, and at some point relatively early on, before it was clear, my partner was like “what did they get yeerked” and i consider it a tremendous achievement of self-control that i didn’t react overmuch :D
also man, Bev was MVP in that episode!

tonight's star trek: at partner's request, because she heard it mentioned, backtracked to Coming of Age and had a good time. also i totally forgot that was heavily foreshadowing Conspiracy. whyyy does Picard's old friend think he might be something else lol

tonight's cooking: forgot to grab a picture. :( sirloin steak, sous vide and then seared at the end, with rice browned in the steak trimmings and parsnip soup. the soup was a failure, but the steak was delicious
