Seattle mayor Bruce Harrell was putting out at least a press release daily celebrating all the amazing things the mayor's office was doing right up until, let's see, November 3.

Nothing since then, though. Weird!

SEATTLE!!!

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

It’s a genuine travesty. There’s maybe one bike locker and it’s hidden under the stairs and heavily used by Mariners.

Mayor Bruce Harrell is announcing his new budget today. In the runup, he's been touting "the largest investment in city history" in affordable housing. That "historic investment"? A sub-inflationary $1 million increase in the entire Office of Housing budget, from $348 million to $349 million.

It sure seems like, at a minimum, MLS would be wise to suspend Suarez and Busquets through the Miami-Sounders game on the 16th. But honestly, Suarez should get banned for the rest of the season. He instigated the fight and then assaulted someone...and it's not like he hasn't pulled worse before...
The Leagues Cup Organizing Committee is still reviewing the melee after Inter Miami's loss to Seattle— including Luis Suarez spitting on a Sounders staffer.

That committee oversees only the Leagues Cup.

Will MLS add punishment on top? There is precedent

I suspect they’ll do the right thing, but it would be completely inexcusable for @soundersfc.com to refuse to open the third deck for Sunday’s game.

Pharmacists are licensed, and insurers are regulated, by the states. Blue states need to defy the FDA (and likely the CDC) and require pharmacists to administer COVID vaccines to all who want it, and require insurers to cover the costs.

Alternatively, free public vaccination clinics.

What actually pisses me off most about this:
There are 5 daycares in Delridge just north of here, three with no off-street parking.

My kiddo went to World Kids, which served many immigrant families too. No option for adding turns. We managed fine, but safer sidewalks and crossings were needed.
