I am a huge fan of the words and music but d’ya know what, I feel duped. I can’t listen to those words anymore. There’s no real depth to those words anymore. It’s really a kick in the guts for me. I invested emotion into those songs and words. Now it’s all evaporated. Same with U2. #BDS

Ahhh no. Terrible loss. Listening to Arena was such a calming pleasure each evening. His ability to get the best from interviewees was so well developed and subtle and each show so well put together. He’ll be missed terrible altogether so he will.

Had the pleasure of meeting Cathy Sweeney who was judging Ennis Book Club Festival last month. She had some very positive and motivating feedback - having selected my work as overall winner. Many thanks to her and the team at Ennis. Great event.

This looks like an actual literary event in Athlone! Having read the winning story I’m sure this will be a really strong debut. Congratulations.

Had a wonderful experience reading at Ennis Book Club Festival tonight. The Art of the Short Story with Cathy Sweeney, Maggie Armstrong and David Butler was wonderfully presented by Olivia Fitzsimons. And Cathy is such a good judge 😁

Does anyone have a fenced field in the midlands of Ireland where I could let my lurcher run wild - (without him disembowelling another animal) 😁😁😁🤞
