The number 4 and the word for "death" can be pronounced the same way, making the number (if pronounced in that way, there's multiple ways of pronouncing it) considered unlucky, you can kinda compare it to "666" in the west

Something that upsets me as well is just how often the conversation around bugs goes to killing them, and often also into distinction between bugs to spare and ones to kill or whatever, and its like.. man.. I JUST wanna enjoy cute and silly little critters :( I love them all INCLUDING the hated ones

Below this point is context!

Fay is a founder of a resistance, I don't have the full context, but I interpreted it in a way where I figured those who she is rebelling against would have a huge interest in assassinating her, especially doing it in a crowd where everyone can see it and receive a clear message: "Don't mess with us."

But Fay has super strength, which she uses to quickly grab the gun and bend it, thwarting the assassination attempt. She is also described as being very nervous & shy, and struggles to stand in front of a crowd, so when the crowd looks on and she has a chance to give them a speech, she fumbles it, and instead just says this.
