The Waymo passenger/OP posted an update on reddit stating Waymo confirmed/admitted hitting the dog (pic1) and a copy of their trip receipt (pic2) showing dropoff at their home, which together appear to confirm or at least strongly suggest the robot did not stop after hitting the dog.

Really really grim
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

People were pissed at the budget hearing last night! Lot of powerful testimony from librarians, rec center staff and teachers who had spent the day with traumatized kids and hearing from coworkers scared to come to work because of ICE and SPPD. Frontline staff making $17.50 while SPPD armed for war.
