We also had a booth at the Grit City comic show in Tacoma last weekend which was a ton of fun. We got some ideas for our ECCC booth next year, can’t wait!

Now that the haunt season has officially concluded it feels weird having afternoons and Saturdays that are actually free. November is always that transitionary period between being scary and jolly.

Some WIP shots throughout the process. His massive head is around 7’ tall, suspended by a series of bungees fixed to a rail, so he has quite a range of movement. The handles inside allow the operator to open the maw and a trigger to spray air through the small tentacles

This is some old concept art for Richter, an oversized costume character I built for our haunt in 2018.
He lasted for 3 years and featured in our mini-movie we filmed in 2020 (when we closed for Covid). He stood around 7’ tall, and his head and arm were puppeteered from the inside

I’m not usually a book guy, but I’ve been seriously enjoying this so far.
As a connoisseur of themed experiences and as somebody who designs haunted houses on the side, this is an extremely insightful tool and a glimpse into the design process for all kinds of visitor experiences. Highly recommend!
