my model has a built in male vga cord, so i got one of these VGA to DP adapter and plugged the displayport input directly into my GPU like a monitor! its simple and my PC recognized it as a monitor, you can further customize the resolution or refresh rate through NVIDIA's control panel!

yup! the max resolution for my model is 1280x1024 at 60hz! but for the games i set it at 1024x768 for that smooth 85hz!
some later models of pc CRT monitor can go up to 1600x1200 resolution like the dell m993s!
its really cool how the tech can have a variable resolution
