Controversially, I think Mafia The Old Country is the weakest game in the series. Great setting but a total dud in gameplay and story.
Very disappointing because I really enjoy this series and glad it got another go, yet I’d like to see more overlap with the other games to better inform the world.

BLACK PHONE 2 was an underbaked disappointment.
Felt like a strange DLC epilogue and vague “origin story” with unneeded closure.
When it faintly leans on the Elm Street vibes, it’s atmospheric but it has a very confused tone that fails to balance crass humour with an amplified mean-spiritedness.
