Theming #GoogleDesign #Material3 Chips in #FlutterDev is quite limited, I would even call it broken, as is theming of many other M3 components that have variant styles. Read more about these #Flutter issues here: 🙂💙

Everything is just shifted down one step below 1.0.0 and pub import resolution uses that as well. Kind of logically consistent, but not same as original Semver contract, where anything goes while below 1.0.0 dart.dev/tools/pub/ve...

Did a random test of the Themes Playground and WASM build with #FlutterDev 3.29. I noticed it performed much better than before, but that the improvement came via updates to the Chromium engine, as using an older version was still as poor as before.

Noticed this a while ago at work and with FlexColorScheme and Themes Playground, #FlutterDev 3.27 broke color styling and theming of #Material buttons with icons, see issue here github.com/flutter/flut...

Interesting @flutter.dev WEB bug with the newer KeyboardListener APIs that replace RawKeyboardListener APIs, the KeyUpEvents do not come when multiple keys are pressed, this kills typical game control usage on Web. Webber

Interesting @flutter.dev WEB bug with the newer KeyboardListener APIs that replace RawKeyboardListener APIs, the KeyUpEvents do not come when multiple keys are pressed, this kills typical game control usage on Web. Webber

Why do both Claude and Deepseek R1 believe there is a FlutterVersion class to show what ver a #FlutterDev app was built with? 😅 And why the freck is there not one? Still no other way of doing it than via an env var in a build script? This one is not good enough pub.dev/packages/dar...

I see @flutter.dev and opinionated #Material3 is getting a lot of pushback in #Flutter community, on X/Twitter at least. Understandably, but you can theme it to be less opinionated. Platform owner has his agenda, I don't share his views, but there are a lot of wonderful people there and generally the reach is much higher. Most devs don't care about US politics and leave it alone. Btw, should being inclusive not also include, including those with different views? 🤔 Oh well...🤷♂️🙂

Let's hope it will get bug fixes. Last fix is soon 2 months ago (Nov 22), before that two features Nov, 13 and 18. All other commits after that are pure maintenance chore, no real fixes. Also, in issues some bug-issues may have been reclassified as "new feature requests" 🤷♂️🙂 x.com/RydMike/stat...

Experimenting with adding the #Shadcn standard color schemes to #FlutterDev #FlexColorScheme plus a selectable premade config that configures Material-3 to be "Shadcn like" and inspired. Need to add some more props in FCS to get a bit closer for some widgets, where doable 🤷♂️🙂💙
