Its ink and color marker drawings of multiple sprite redraws from Fields of Mistria. Its the water sprite statue, a moon fruit, a marigold flower, a monster shell, a daikon radish, a grilled cheese with the gooey cheese, a capybara with a tangerine on its head, a jade dulse, an orange, a basket of yarn balls and lastly a jar of blackberry jam! Not very detailed I tried to replicate their simple game sprite looks.

Kinda feeling "There are stars inside me" by Izar for my oc Carter in terms of plot but Idk if it's his vibe. Maybe it sounds too much like hopeful ascension, and I don't think he'll ever do that in his story, but I don't wanna shoot down that idea entirely cuz that'd actually be really sad.

Pink Skies and Dusty Trails! Fake western show title this deputy and sheriff would’ve had when they were younger. Deputy has pink hair, a dark brown hat full of bullet holes, a slightly worn green cape, and some chaps. She is facing away from her partner and aims with both hands towards her front. Yet her eyes are on us. Her eyes are suspiciously dark, hinting that she’s not quite human. Sheriff only aims with his right hand. His holster is fully on display over his jeans as opposed to his deputy’s which is slightly obscured by cape fabric. His belt buckles, brown boot spurs, and hat strap all have gold pieces. His hat only has one bullet hole. In the strap he tucks in a couple green feather and an old black and white photo. They are both standing between two red canyons with the sun and blue sky behind them.

Version without hats. Both of them have similar three-pronged bangs although the pink haired one's bangs are longer. Also, they rocking the short mullets. Burnet guy has sideburns.

“Me and Ichigo were thick as thieves! Those were the days… things were so simple back then. It all went sour when Mayor Milkweed moved into town with his family. Pa thought the mayor’s daughter was a right fit for me. 👋Note: Ichigo and her partner’s lives for the first few years could’ve passed as kid’s cartoon (her tough guy/bad cop personality would’ve probably been played for laughs) But it’s obvious that things escalated.

Having a hard time writing my story as a Horror where my ocs all survive by the skin of their 🦷 without accidentally tipping the genre into Action because they're too competent or well prepared. Is it an issue with the stakes, power imbalance or lack thereof with the antagonist, or simply aesthetic?

Typos? That's pretend water damage

Ichigo shoves her baby brother into a table corner. He gets injured so bad that there’s a splash of red in the spiky impact effect seen in comics. Next to them in her pink room you can see a plucked orchid on its side.

Her parents kick her out at sunset. Their silhouettes can be seen looming in the yellow light of the doorframe. Meanwhile Ichigo on her knees is barely illuminated by the sun going down. Most of the house, grass, and bushes are covered in shadow.

In the moonlight she’s later guided by a kind young cowboy (doesn’t actually work on a ranch, just has the outfit of the time period), her age. A porch of a western town building can be seen behind them.

"When he was around 3 or 4, my baby brother liked to meddle with things that weren't his. He destroyed something that was precious to me at the time. I loved that orchid. I’d water it, talk to it, sing to it. I was furious with what he’d done. I accidentally pushed him too hard into the corner of a table. It gave him a pretty nasty gash. My parents walked in on him crying. It felt like there was a hole in my stomach. They removed me from the house just as the sun was going down. They closed the door on me, after threatening disownment. I had to seek shelter elsewhere, so I headed towards the direction of the inn. On the way there I passed by someone my age. He was the sheriff's son. Out of kindness he offered to take me in. His dad’s bed was empty that night, so I slept there. "I was grateful to have somewhere to stay, so cleaned up around the house a little- it was in pretty rough shape- and even made breakfast. While California was at the table, he asked me what happened that night, and I told him what had happened. It was his idea that if I dressed up as a boy I might be able to stay here without getting any strange looks, as it just so happens, nobody in this part of town would recognize me. Before the sheriff got back, he bought me new clothes.

When the sheriff, Cassidy Horner, got home, California introduced me as "Indigo Mori". I remember I had to correct him and say it was 'Ichiro Mori'. He also told him how helpful I’ve been while 'holding down the fort'. They made a deal, that in exchange for lodging, I could clean their house. Later California also wanted me to work alongside him too. My family didn’t care that I was living a new life as a boy, they didn’t want anything to do with me. They were just counting the days until I could get married off.

3 years later California ran for sheriff and won and kept me as his deputy. I assume you’ve the read the papers. Note: Let me clarify, pink hair isn’t necessarily an indicator of harpy lineage, but rather it’s the hair color matching the feathers of the harpy they’re descended from. It just so happens that a rosy-faced lovebird’s pink is seen as natural as being a redhead in the world that they live in.
