i mean, it kinda looks like a big pyrex dish of goop because it kinda is, but it's very tasty, easy and makes a fair amount of meals for a couple

also nice if you toast some breadcrumbs or crushed crackers with butter to top it with, but don't top it in the oven if you plan on having leftovers, it'll just get soggy. sprinkle on top for serving if you plan on meal prep or leftovers.

if you want my stepmom's recipe for chicken casserole here you go. i just add some garlic and onion powder. milk makes the sauce a little less thick, but I just eyeball it until I like it. and I use extra lemon. text is straight from her and I even alt texted the whole recipe for you.

Chicken caserole
2 cans cream of chicken soup - you can use fat free or low sodium if you like
2/3 cup of mayo
1 - 2 tbls fresh lemon juice - depending on your taste. 1 8 oz package shredded cheddar cheese
Mix the above together
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts - salt and pepper simmer in water until pink is gone
(cut into small cube like pieces)
1 package frozen chopped brocolie - thaw and squeeze some of the moisture out
Use a 9 x 12 pan - put half of chicken and brocoli in the caserole top with half of above mixutre and repeat. Sprinkle paprika on top and bake 45 minutes (or until the middle is bubbling) on 375 degrees.
