Actual context - my shift is 4x10. So I work M-Th & have F -Sun off. My shift is why the other shifts can take lunch. But I was ill yesterday and am out today and my manager told me not to worry about any penalties

I really don't enjoy my job from like an emotional fulfillment perspective but I have to say my supervisors & my direct manager are really accommodating. Bc of my shift type there is a big emphasis on not missing work but my manager just let me know I don't have to worry about it. Good folks
