This game absolutely fuckin rocks. Got all the achievements except finishing a hitless arcade stage and doing a 100-hit combo. Can't wait for the next one (please tell me there will be a next one)

I really wish there was a "save mods to new armor" option for Destiny 2 because as much as I'm looking forward to Renegades, I am not looking forward to having to re-do all my armor pre-sets once the new gear comes out.

I don't know how much of a mentor Itagaki was to others on Team Ninja - his most famous quote seems to evince a rather prickly personality - but the lessons of NG 1 and 2 seem to have been completely misunderstood, if not forgotten entirely.

you can dunk on Itagaki's dedication to pushing the player all you want but I think he was a designer who fundamentally understood video game flow better than a lot of people. Ninja Gaiden 3 is what you get when people who don't understand flow are put in control of a "hard" game.

all that being said, the season artifact Implement of Curiosity, has one of the best lore entries in the entire game and I literally cannot read it without getting weepy. Destiny 2 writing team remains undefeated.

God I really wish Renegades was out this Tuesday. I've gotten about as much out of Arms Week as possible, almost all of my characters are up to 550, I've maxed out the season track like 20 times over, and I've gotten resentful of the champion-dependent builds for most of the stuff I'm doing now.
