The biggest issue to overcome is healing from damage. Standard Pendragon leaves you out for weeks/months. More technologically based games can overcome the issue with modern alternatives, of course. The trait system works really well in all genres.

Its like that text message you get from the pharmacy saying your prescription is ready to collect, only to turn up and wait half an hour whilst they get it all together and let the pharmacist check it. ... so not ready then?
