Poor individual showings are rewarded. Good individual showings are ignored. Man management is, from the outside looking in, awful. So while there might not be 'better' options out there, I'm not sure how Slot sticks around.

We still don't know his plan for Wirtz. We were told he was supposed to be the #10 but Slot called time on that, for now, in September. We don't know what the plan was with Isak or Ekitike either. Injuries haven't helped but there's been no signs of a plan for the duo.

Our play has no purpose. How often are we seeing someone pick up possession and having nothing on? The structure doesn't get the best out of anyone but we're persisting with it.

That's the biggest red flag, imo. You can't just ride this out and assume we'll figure it out because I genuinely don't think Slot has actually figured out what he wants. The strikers are feeding off of scraps and now we're seeing diminishing returns from Salah.

I had wondered whether we might see Wirtz as a F9 but then we went and spent £200m on Isak and Ekitike 😂

If you spend ~£200m on high volume attackers, you kind of need to make sure they're getting similar opportunities here to justify that sort of money.

Darwin went from being a reliable goal threat (not a reliable goalscorer) to basically doing bleep tests whenever he was given minutes on the pitch.

In his record breaking season, Salah averaged 3.2 shots (lowest of his career) and had a NPxG of 0.49 (second lowest of his LFC career).

This is very much an Arne Slot issue. Darwin, Diaz, Gakpo and Salah all posted LFC low numbers last season. Now Isak and Ekitike are struggling.
