Now the ability to get a full night's sleep before what always turns out to be a very busy day beats lying in bed for an hour or two because I'm too busy thrumming with excitement to fall asleep. I didn't decide getting that back was so important I needed to turn fascist about it.

When I was a kid, it took me forever to fall asleep on Christmas Eve because I was too excited about the following morning. Sometime in high school, that stopped happening but it took me another year or two to notice. Some of the magic had gone out of the holiday. I shrugged and got on with it.

oh yeah I didn't include any Ghibli either, but I'd probably go with Mononoke in that case. tbh I don't understand what the difference between "best" and "favourite" is supposed to be. Should I be looking up ratings or something? XD

I saw it over the weekend, and it's now my second-favourite Benoit Blanc film after Knives Out. I will admit that it's probably the weakest ensemble though.
