Heard the Redstart sing twice, first time I've heard one sing at the flashes in 55 years!! Craig's Merlin app flagged up Redstart on Sunday by the broken gate so seems likely it's been present since then - AG

Yesterday's Reed Warbler may be the earliest ever for the Flashes by one day. I've found an earlier record from mid March but I am not sure if this sighting is from the flashes or elsewhere in secos recording area - AG

Gorsty, nr Weston: 1f (photo) and 2 prob male Small Sallow, 1f Grey-patched, 1m Ashy, 4f 12m Tawny, Gwynnes & Clarke's Mining Bees. 1f White-faced Mason Bee. Blood bee sp, Tree, Red-tailed & Buff-tailed Bumbles. Dark-edged Bee-flys common this year. - AG

A very excited Hairy-footed Flower Bee zooming around my pulmonary patches. Late emergence this year, I was getting worried but all's well in the world.
