I think it is evident that we have already brought the conversation to BlueSky!

In an environment plagued by scientific misinformation, do medical organisations/journals have a moral imperative to remain, to provide a source of truth & reason?

Or should they just.. leave?

Let's discuss.

Huge respect to @anzca.bsky.social for leaving Twitter behind. Time for other health related organisations to do the same.

You have the power to bring the conversation to BlueSky.

I heard about @thetimes.com article from UK colleagues- but I was not prepared for this. A sexist dig at women, a stereotyping of orthopaedic surgeons as 'carpenters' and cardiothoracic surgeons as 'plumbers', and a final snark about transgender. Appalling.

A shocking Royal College of Nursing report reveals the toll chronic underfunding has taken on staff, and rings alarm bells for the future I’ve never read a report quite like it. Last week the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) published accounts from the…

The last speaker in the Diveristy in Focus session at #WSM2025 is @curlygastube.bsky.social , speaking about working with a non-visible disability.

Her story of recovery from a traumatic brain injury, among multiple other injuries, was both candid and inspirational.

She is incredible.

Saw this over on threads. Kind of wish it was true.😁 Merry Christmas one and all!
If only we had national single payer healthcare to treat this searing burn on Trump*

I work with an ODP who, when I ask for ‘a bit of pressure’ responds “you’re a terrible anaesthetist and you’ll never get that tube in”

😆😆 gets me every time.
You’re a stupid, worthless shopping basket holder and you’ll never amount to anything.

When it comes to reporting sexual misconduct, mddle aged women who are well established in their careers have less to lose than those who are younger or less established

And despite this, many did not come forward for years

Mr Wallace would do well to reflect on this 1/
