Something very satisfying about using hand carved tools to practice an old craft. Local maker Alan Berry carved the spindle and the spoon.

Recertified in CPR and first aid last night. 30 childcare professional in the room and not one including myself got the chocking procedure for infants correct. I have been certified every 2 years for over 30 years but if you don't practice it doesn't stick.

Okay S&W, you should put more than a 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes in a #10 can of tomatoes. This would have been tolerable on tomato soup day but when I'm using drained diced tomatoes the entire can went down the drain.
