#tavqotd In the events of the game Malis uses simply “Bhaal” out loud as it’s the most impersonal & least respectful of his titles.

In her own internal despair, she refers to him as “Father”. That title does nothing to absolve her of her guilt. She believes she deserves to torture herself with it.

Lysander didn't forget anything until being lobotomized and even then it was his memories of being the Chosen that were affected. His memories of his mother were always kind of hazy apart from when she was killed but he remembers her and being a slave, then escaping the Underdark #tavqotd

#tavqotd Dirge will refer to Bhaal as Father or Creator, the titles don't hold much weight, it's more a matter of fact. Yet there is tone of greif in the way he says it no matter the expression how he tries to mask it.

It was allowing Carver to be raised outside the Church of Bhaal. He had made him so malleable, a perfect weapon, but he let others shape him, wield him. Eventually, turn him against him. He should have known the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.

He'd be the kind of guy who says "my dad" or "the old man" in more modern setting though
