Let's discuss some of the nations of Aemissum, starting with one of the major nations, l'Republique d'Ouvrard. Ouvrard was one of the earliest nations formed in Aemissum, being sometime around 2C 560 or so.

The flag of l'Republique d'Ouvrard, a proud and steadfastly independent nation in western Aemissum. The flag of the Ouvrard was created sometime in 6C 16 during the foundation of the Republic and the writing of it's constitution. The red represents the blood spilled by many in service to their country, with the blue representing the beauty of l'Ocean d'Ballairge, named for the Ouvrardi explorer Felix de Saint Ballairge. The symbol on the first flag is the Cross of St. Cuvier, a sigil borrowed from the Saarloosi runic alphabet that is commonly associated with the Ouvrardi Orthodox Church. The left side of the cross represents the six tribal groups that founded the original Empire of Montou, with the other six representing the three main rivers and three major lakes in the country.

The Rune of St. Cuvier:
This rune is one of many sigils used in Ouvrardi Orthodoxy to represent their countless saints and holy figures.

St. Cuvier, known in his mortal life as Renard Cuvier II, is the patron saint of the Ouvrardi homeland. Alongside Ethor Volmer (later canonized as St. Volmer) of the 29th Composite Unit of the Ouvrardi Foreign Legion, the two would sacrifice themselves to power a dormant Spirit Cannon structure on the island fortress Citadel du Alencon. This weapon would be used to destroy the largest airship in Deseret's fleet, the Twelth Apostle, an event that would mark the end of the Thousand Aeons War.

Art I made of a heavy-machinegun in GIMP, not sure how to describe it because it's a kitbash of various parts. Text reads "Shikoku Heavy Machinegun" and "Shikoki Heavy Industries of Jindo". It's got a big-ass belt, a huge crank-esque carry handle on the top too.

Modifications: Cockpit view-cameras, Infrared Optics and Searchlights, ancient reactive armor systems. Crew: 3 (Godefroy De Saint-Pierre, Adenulphus Renou Leandre, Lucelina Guiot De Saint-Pierre)

An ancient marchant-char that has seen use throughout the late stages of the Thousand Years War and even into the early days of the Second Industrial Age. Since its discovery by the machinists of the Observatorie d'Ouvrard during the Thousand Aeons War, Momento has served multiple roles and has been handed down across multiple owners in the last few Cycles, each one's name being forever imprinted into the crew manifest located inside of the cockpit. It’s previous owner Marcellus De La Croix, the step-father of its current owners, discovered the Momento in a scrapyard on the island of Waras in 6C 49, purchasing and eventually refitting it with top of the line weapons and armor for use in Transient work. Among the many modifications made to it would be the addition of a crew quarters, a kitchen and a bathroom/shower.

The Momento's most powerful weapon is it's Electrical Discharge Cannon, a massive soul-powered coilgun capable of penetrating even the toughest of armor at the cost of over-charging the SPEs within the marchant-char itself. Another weapon it utilizes is the d'Arc-type Zweihander, a massive, electrically-charged two-handed sword powered by a small internal SPE.

An aircraft meant as a test bed and originally issued to stunt pilots for airshows as they were seen as too unwieldy for mass deployment, the breakout of conflict saw these pressed back into a military role and rearmed. Ernhardt in particular was pushed to the limit by his pilot and became sentient after the engine cells shattered. Ernhardt's pilot is known for using wing-strikes and other daring close maneuvers to engage enemy aircraft. As such the wings were reinforced with steel plating and internal struts, allowing them to be used as blades against other aircraft.

Armaments: Improvised shrapnel cannons (x2, chest-mounted), shoulder-mounted napalm canister launcher, wrist-mounted 'scrapper' claw gauntlets (constructed using construction digger claws specifically to rip into armor).
Identifying markers: Blue, black, red and green paint across it's rusted armor based on Salishan art with a faded silver gilding along the edges of the armor.

The Winalagalis is a modified construction marchant-char built by an unknown pirate gang in Leadheart. Almost all of its parts were scavenged from various marchant-chars, tanks and even airships, with it's main weapon being flak cannons constructed from Eurasier M.02 70mm mortar cannons. This weapon is capable of loading just about anything you can throw into it, spitting it back out like a shotgun for close-quarters combat.

The napalm launcher on the left shoulder of the mechwalker serves as a highly useful area denial weapon as well as the perfect excuse for the crew on board to burn down anything they deem a threat to them.
