Call of the Night S2 far exceeded my already high expectations, leaving a hole in my heart with no more weekly episodes to translate. Hopefully there'll be a S3? Please? Miyuki Sawashiro's top-notch voice acting absolutely stole the show, from Anko's unhinged banter to the heart-wrenching

Kudos to Behind The Manga for doing an interview with Mitsuru Hattori, mangaka of Wash It All Away! I love how when he answers about incorporated cleaning techniques in his everyday life, he says he uses what he learns from Miss Kinme (in the Japanese) as if she exists, which is very sweet somehow.

Finished volume 3 of Wash It All Away! The entire volume was focused on Kinme's personal life more than the previous vols.

I think the author was trying something out here and I think they did a solid job at it! Hopefully we get more insight into her backstory soon!

The translation obviously had to retain all the right keywords, BUT ALSO rhyme and have some sort of rhythm that’s believable as rap. And believe me, I am no rapper. (some excerpts below)

the idea is to give a general feel of how much that cost would mean to the characters. Of course, it’s a moot point a lot of the time when there’s a guideline to follow, but I wonder about this kind of thing constantly.

I'm sorry to butt in on this. I also really struggle with 甘える in general but with 甘やかすone option I've found is to go with "indulge," like "indulge someone's whims/desires," depending on the context.

When a guy was called out for always “doing ore TSUEEE” when gaming with his friends, the one calling him out is not a gamer and knows the term but is not very savvy with the usage. I went with “Yeah, you always ask who our daddies are.” Also got to add a volume-end note to explain Ore TSUEEE
