We haven't put our tree up since 2020 for multiple reasons, most of them feline:
* Starbuck loved the tree and would lay under it the whole season. RIP 1/2020
* Iris joined us 4/2020 and the tabby is definitely a toddler/hobbit and there's no way it would be upright if she had a tree to climb.

FFS my multi-color whistles have important info on them … and the "waste" is literally like 0.1g because they're only multi-color for a single layer and I'm printing 55 at a time.
