Today the South Bristol Amateur Radio Club were at the former Midsomer Norton South railway station operating #GB0SDR as part of Railways on the Air marking the 200th anniversary of the first passenger train service
We had great fun and members will be back on site tomorrow

Propagation was against us, only adding ~20 QSOs to our log
Rain and storms skirted us and we were packed away before the only major rain event of the day

Unfortunately mobile phone coverage at our #MillsOnTheAir site is poor, and there is no WiFi available either, so we are not able to "live post"

We hoped to live post from today's "Airfields on the Air" but being"out in the sticks" we had poor coverage
After it took the best part of 2 hours to send our frst post on another platform we dicided to just get on with the radio side of business
Flat conditions improved but only 33 contacts
