Moving up in the world. 1 LED has become 5. Lessons learned:
- Using water analogy with electricity, does not always hold water 🥁
- Series vs parallel circuits
- Pre-formed jumper wires 💯
- “Electricity takes the path of least resistance” is misleading.

Getting pretty advanced with my EE skills 😂 In all honesty though, the Student kit and guide from #arduino has been really good so far.

Anyone else been jealous of Arch and their Hyprland tiling window manager? I've been trying out Aerospace for Mac and loving it so far: github.com/nikitabobko/...

Wrapping up an assignment for Høyskolen Kristiania: showcasing eight UI components and their states. Built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Maybe not the most interesting project outside the brief 😅

I wonder where I got my color scheme for my keyboard, seeing as I was finishing both 'projects' at the same time 😂

Can you crack the code? Hint: it is weekend related. Also, using AI to work it out is cheating ;)

Finished blinking some LEDs and registering button presses with a simple circuit on the Raspberry Pi. Parts 3, 4, and 5 of the CamJam Edukit 1 – done ✅

Enjoyed learning the logic behind pull-down button configuration and getting a better understanding of GPIO input and output.

Keyboard journey part 4:
Glorious GMMK Pro, GPBT keycaps & Fox switches:
- Delicious metal build.
- Keys in right places (compared to Keychron K4).
- Return key a bit sticky. Stabilizers needs work.
- No mac Keycaps from Glorious!
- Give me proper øæå keys in Norwegian. Not the nordic bullshit.
November 4, 2024 at 8:49 PM
Keyboard journey part 3:
Second hand Glorious GMMK Pro with PBT keycaps.

Switch review:
Glorious Fox: Perfect
Gateron Milky Yellow Pro: Close to perfect.
Gateron Silent Black v2: Too heavy push down & too quiet.
Durock T1 Shrimp Silent: Too quiet.
Gateron Milky Brown Pro: Just don’t like them.
November 4, 2024 at 8:40 PM
Keyboard journey part 2:

Keychron K4 V2, Gateron Red switches:
- Nice with Mac and Windows support and keys.
- Can be used wireless or with cable.
- I still can’t for the life of me hit the right keys.
- Can't rest my fingers on the keyboard.
- It’s pretty loud and sounds pretty horrible.

Keyboard Journey Part 1:

Apple Magic Keyboard
- Does the job.
- As soulless as it looks. The touch, feel, and sound are exactly what you’d expect from a flat Apple keyboard.
-Surprisingly good battery life — lasts for weeks.
- Going to be a keeper backup keyboard with a numpad.

Going forwards I'll be using bsky to celebrate finishing small personal projects as I go.

First up:
CamJam-EduKit 1, part 2 - LEDs
- Learned about Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), resistors, and Ohm's law.
- Nice simple project to get going with circuits! Recommended!
