Something my mom did that I'll always do is: putting my glass of milk in the freezer for a few minutes before eating my desserts. It's so good ice cold. I drink milk regardless, but she would only drink the tiniest glass if it was in the freezer first, and usually just with a donut lol.

It’s ok to say no. Don’t set yourself on fire to keep others warm. Being kind also means being kind to yourself.

I'm so mad. My main hard drive finally crashed (I knew it was coming and had started the migration so I didn't lose anything important, thankfully) but even though FFXIV wasn't on it, it hasn't worked right since. I have to spend an hour + every time I want to open the game.

I used to get so annoyed at peeled hard boiled eggs or peeled oranges in plastic containers at the store when I lived in Florida. Then I realized... Hey some of those activities are actually not even that easy for someone who doesn't struggle. I actually think it's kinda nice now.
Hint: almost every thing you see advertised and you go “wow, that’s so lazy” is used meaningfully in a disabled person’s life.

I had to say goodbye to my sweet little Pippin today. My little grey puffball of a finch. I tried. I brought her to the vet thinking she was egg bound, but the doctor doesn't know what was wrong. She passed on her own while waiting to be seen. I'm sorry Pippin. I love you and will miss you forever.
