After sleeping with a no headboard sort of man, I started to analyse why I did it. Was it for the anecdote? So I could share in heterosexual despair? Or something more sinister?

When I told a man I was on a date with that I’m a journalist, he said “you mean you have a Substack?”

So I started one! On dating men like him!

There is great work being done, (like Pause,
@agenda-alliance.bsky.social and PAC-UK) but support services are few and far between - particularly in the North of England, which also has the highest % of children in care (no coincidence!)
