Die Modellvariante macht meiner Erfahrung nach einen großen Unterschied. Man muss ChatGPT zu "thinking" zwingen. Für die oben berichtete richtige Antwort brauchte ChatGPT knapp 7 Minuten.

Derselbe Prompt bei 5.1 führt bei mir zur richtigen Lösung.
Ich habe folgenden Meta-Prompt in meinen Einstellungen:
