I teach in an Adult Education program. I am a very liberal individual in an extremely conservative area.

None of my posts etc.. on any account represent views, opinions, or endorsement by my employer.

My views expressed are mine alone.
I say let it see the light of day. Investigate fully, prosecute boldly and believe victims. I was accused of grooming a student and immediately called for a formal investigation. I was not guilty of wrongdoing. You'd think all of our elected officials would want proper investigation. Unless...

I think they have a point on unity. Let's unify a party of the people and kick the bums out. Imagine if elected officials served constituents rather than donors. Time for new leadership. Schumer needs to retire along with those who folded on the shutdown.

Piss her off! She has singlehandedly destroyed adult literacy programs. Her legislation is pure privatization. It has deprived many good programs of funding to divert it to for-profit colleges. In my mind that bitch is going to hell! Btw I believe hell will only house like 500 ppl.

It makes complete sense when you view it through the lens of destroying public education so you can justify privatization at the expense of the taxpayers. It also helps establish a proletariat class to do the manual labor. Much of this comes from eugenics.

I worry they'll backwards integrate AI the way they change other games I've owned for years. My wife and I loved Minecraft until it sold to MS.

I'd check the batteries in the remote. I'm six months into my fix it protest and it makes me feel good if nothing else. I am fixing things and refusing to travel or buy extras.

Starving your population and brutalizing marginalized groups is the realm of dictators.

I cook for friends at least on Sundays for dinner. They're welcome to bring candy as they love to eat it.

My school district pays for my labor and is reimbursed by the grant for work I do. If my district is not compensated it likely will end my program. The poorest and most vulnerable will be hurt by this. If they stop Adult Education it may not restart here.

Adding insult to injury is the fact many grants reimburse spending to control the grant. Worse than not being funded is expending funds only to be denied reimbursement. States and institutions will likely be afraid of issuing or accepting future grants.

This is why I stockpile socks. My wife keeps trying to get me down to only a month's worth. May you get your own stockpile.

This goes against all I was taught to hold sacred as a chef. My executive chef once told me you could make the best tasting food ever and if it wasn't beautiful to look at you've wasted your time. As an Okie it seems like common sense, pass the gravy.

Other educators get upset with me when I say if you're not in it for the students GTFO of education. Go work where you'll do less harm. I can only hope to still be celebrating years from now as retirement approaches. I hope to teach forever.

This is why using your state's department of vocational rehabilitation is a great idea. Most states qualify you for services by age 16.

I'd go after it under the I.d.e.a. which has more vague definitions and requirements. I'd suggest stating that forcing use of AI denies access to a Free and Appropriate Education or least restrictive environment. The problem with idea is it only covers people 22 or younger.

Not at this time. Us teachers are forced to embrace AI. It monitors my teaching and grades my student's essays. Tech bros own education in my state. Our legislature made it mandatory for teacher fund reimbursement. I no longer get reimbursed as a result. It will go the way of the Edsel.

My feelings are reciprocal. I'm stronger and kinder due to my experiences. It has made me an unwaivering champion of children and their rights to bodily autonomy. We can and will change this for future generations. I'm sorry you were ever a victim.
