Fair point. I guess I should have said "Last good SW in the continuity", then. Rogue One was a fine film.

That may seem like a simple-minded plan, one that might spark nuclear war, but hear me out. Russia doesn't have the stones to start such a war, and they would lose in a war against NATO, nuclear or conventional. So NATO has the upper hand here. All Putin has is bluster. 2/2

The Force Awakens = The last good SW film.

The Last Jedi was meh, and... we don't speak of whatever that last one was

Stochastic terrorism is still a crime, right? Maybe those folks posting about hanging members of Congress should be charged for this, and the House and Senate should probably impeach the President and convict him before he sends his brownshirts to their door to round them all up?

As much as I think it would be a bad idea, if we're drafting a new QB-of-the-future in 2026, to sit and learn behind Stafford for a year or so, if Arch Manning falls to us they will pick him. Because Kronke won't want to be the owner who passed on the next Manning in the NFL.
November 20, 2025 at 12:27 PM
The only vote we get is if we refuse to watch, but that will never happen. The NFL is too popular, and too many people just want to watch mindless violence, without regard for players safety.
November 20, 2025 at 11:48 AM
You're right, but nothing will change. NFL owners don't care about player safety, all they care about is dollars. More televised, prime-time games make them more money, which is why we have TNF, and why we'll be getting an 18-game season sooner rather than later. The owners just want money.

Can't. Working. I'll sleep when I'm commuting home.

Oh, wait... I drove to work.

Meh, I might take some micronaps, anyway. Graveyard shift is an absolute b***h.

I'll take the haunted mansion or space travel. Of the two, I'd enjoy the mansion more, though.

Well, awesome. Trump will sign it, then unfortunately his AG Bondi will refuse to comply, citing an ongoing investigation. Or she will only release a heavily redacted portion, again citing ongoing investigations.

There will be nothing that mentions Trump.

This is now a re-election issue. Vote against releasing the files, and your chances of re-election are nil. This isn't as big of an issue in the Senate, as they can have a retiring Republican filibuster the vote to try to kill it. This won't work in the long term, but they will stall.

Father especially, which is why he always was so desperate to gain his dad's approval. Too bad he's a pathetic loser.

There is a farm my wife and I drive by every now and again, that has been covered in pro-Trump signs and banners since 2016. A few months ago, all of those signs and banners disappeared. Nothing else changed, same old truck in the driveway, etc. Just a MAGAt getting wise to the grift.

Pam Bondi is next.

This is why Vance was put on the ticket. Use Trump to get in office, and wrangle as much of Project 2025 into being as they could, before it became politically expedient to cut him loose. Then Vance takes over to seem like the reasonable, less-rapey option, to secure those changes.
November 15, 2025 at 11:42 AM
They know that JD Vance will step in and be easier to deal with than Trump, without Trump's baggage, so might as well toss Trump aside. The longer Trump remains, the worse it is for all of the GOP.
