My boys know that I won’t spend money on filler & we don’t celebrate Xmas as a religious holiday, it’s about the rest and hanging out. No pressure, no stress. We used to feel obligated to travel to their paternal grandparents when boys were younger, I hated it lol. Separations are wonderful 🤪

I think for our PD, the money spent could be better put to use within the department I think they waste a lot of money on certain things.

Where I live Police are adequately funded but our municipal FD has had a massive shake up in terms of training and how members and support staff are treated it’s now getting the proper attention. Our emergency health system is run by a contracted company and needs work, problems definitely exist.

Defund the police where I live means instead of greatly increasing police budgets yearly we take a look at where that money is going and move a portion of it to mental health care, poverty reduction and community action groups like Cease Fire.

I bought some Roots clothing, Manmade undies pack for the 18 yo, Hershel wallet for the 14 yo. They love candy and chocolates. I’m also not buying fillers or crap, and each have some pricey things on their list, they tend play with a video game they got anyway 🙂

Healthcare is a human right. Cut out the middle man insurance companies that make it expensive.Healthcare can be better, people benefit from prevention care which also makes healthcare cheaper in the long run. Healthy happy citizens attract industry, and investment.

My spouse has a rental property, he has a landlord agreement with NSP, the tenant left and power was just shut off, no reconnection to the landlord. Pipes froze. Argument with NSP ensued, landlord blamed for NSP not properly entering agreement 🙄

A friend’s spouse has the power bill in their name. He pays the house bill and she the camp bill. She paid the camp bill through her bank app then mysteriously had her bank account hacked losing about $200. It affected more than account holders.
