Now that Democrats are out of office, it just doesn't have as much resonance. Now, you could easily flip it to say "President Trump cares more about his ballroom than bringing down costs." It's hard to make anti-trans messages stick when coffee and bananas cost more.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I sent off an old failed drive for a recovery attempt. I was consolidating my photo archives years ago when the drive failed. I lost *a lot*. If it's the right drive I found in my garage (after about 4 interstate moves) there might be 10k pics on there. 🤞

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".
