A bit of a thought experiment: I don't think violence and kindness are mutually exclusive all the time.
I think cruelty and kindness ARE, but violence (That being physical force intended to harm another) is not always cruel.

I feel like just 'having an idea' isn't good enough for any sort of creative endeavor. A cool or unique concept can be interesting, but it's the effort of working through it which refines and deepens the idea and makes it real.
If you can't do that, then you're not a creative.
