This is why I support freedom of expression.

Appropriately, it is the chaos of a system that supports free speech that gives rise to the grand process of democratic self-governance and the ideally upward arc of human progress and flourishing.

Yesterday a Stoppard play, today a tweet.

fun fact, being a trans person is very much like being a cyclist in that most people will go out of their way to avoid you but your very existence makes a small subset of people extremely angry and violent!
Was recently told to essentially “Shut up and stick to bike advocacy” after a post supporting the trans community.
1. GTFO
2. My voice is not some singular thing - bike advocacy is a small part of my makeup-you don’t like me or my position on things refer to point 1

A car comically overloaded with plywood? It’s a good ad for a pickup — but also a sign of the incredible amount of money, weight and energy being wasted on

I would be more excited about this prospect if the @albertandp.ca weren't out there trying to prove they can cheer even harder for oil and gas.

At least they're not all in on suspending human rights, I guess.

I want to hear about getting renewables back on track, breathable air, drinkable water.

Today's entry in very easy meals originating from "I think that should work":

Mix gochujang, miso (or doenjang, if you can get it), brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ground pork (in proportions that make sense to you). Fry, serve on rice.

Maybe sprinkle with green onion or something
