I think Labour should’ve taken Rayner’s resignation as an opportunity to disestablish this non-job.

I’ve always voted Labour and supported the Party. Resigned my membership when Corbyn was elected, rejoined the Party today.

I don’t criticise people for leaving Labour - I left when Corbyn was elected. However, I didn’t spend my time criticising the Party or joining other parties whilst he was leader. I tried to support the Party where I could and continued to vote Labour. I expect others not to act like babies.

I did find his arrogance deeply off-putting before listening as well as some of his prior behaviours, but was really taken aback by how he tied himself up in knots explaining his own views without Lewis even challenging him. Lots of odd opinions and the usual easy answers to complicated problems.

I’d say that was a car crash for Polanski. Key takeaways: he’s not interested in green policies, sees more good in Farage than Starmer, doesn’t think Israel should exist, thinks Russia will give up nuclear weapons if asked nicely and wants to be PM of UK but supports Scottish and Welsh independence.

I resigned my Labour membership in 2015. I’ve just rejoined Labour after listening to that interview.

Starmer has never come across as arrogant. Wooden maybe, but never arrogant. Polanski oozes arrogance every time he speaks.

Still think he will repel more voters than he will attract if he doesn’t find a way to come across as less arrogant.

The Green Party has 80,000 members in total so not sure how you think he’s added 800,000! 🧐 They’d have more than every other party combined if that was accurate!

I don’t think there is anything to underestimate. I can see the Green vote share going down with him as leader. His arrogance supersedes anything he actually says and will put any moderate Green voters right off.
