Half of my process is digital, especially for client work, so I am not even trying to suggest that there’s anything inherently wrong with it - but a digital process that is more hands-on, something that uses less shortcuts and more direct input, is going to stand out in a sea of AI slop.

The future of art is handmade. Not that digital is dead, but art that feels like more of a direct pipeline from the imagination to the canvas by way of the hand - is going to be what sells and connects with audiences the best.
