A year ago I received my book, Design for Developers, after working on it for 3 years. Since then it's been translated and published in Russian and German, and over 3000 copies have been sold.

I wanted to make visual design accessible for developers and I'm happy to say I've accomplished that.

Could not get comfortable last night and had to prop my pregnancy pillow up on the couch so I could get into a position that didn’t hurt my ribs. Baby girl would not stop kicking ferociously between 3 and 4 AM either.

Seems fitting to begin the third trimester massively uncomfortable 💀

I hired a dog walker to take Vogue once a week on a long walk because pregnancy has legitimately made walking more than a mile unbearable. Just sent her out the door for her first walk and I feel like this is prepping me for sending my child to school or daycare lol

To be fair this was a one off/follow up appointment with a specialist related to pregnancy so I'm not sure what the protocol is with that, but it wasn't my normal GP :/

I give people 5 minutes before I log off for a meeting that no one showed up to. I feel like giving an NHS doctor 15 minutes to show up before logging off of what was supposed to be a 30 minute online appointment is ample time.
