We're looking for more volunteers to join our lovely tool library team in NE Seattle or Shoreline! Don't worry about being a tool expert because we're happy to teach new learners. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities, and we are confident we can find a role that fits your interests 🧰🤝
Four people are having fun at the Shoreline Tool Library front desk. From left to right, Rebecca is thinking with a pencil up to her face, Ava is smiling off to the side, BJ is drinking from a mug, and Dom is holding a spray bottle and drinking from a waterfall.

Although items are free at the end, please remember that we're trying to increase access to tools, so if you arrive earlier and can only donate a smile or a thumbs up, that's okay! Either way, you're giving tools new homes and keeping them out of the landfill, so thank you 🫶
seattlereconomy.bsky.social
Otherwise, if you're looking for something more common or some artistic inspiration like Salvation, come by from 2–3pm when everything is completely free!

If it's anything like last time, there will still be lots of great stuff later in the day as well, it just might be a little rained on! We'll be updating what the tables look like throughout the event on Instagram stories.

IT'S TOOL SALE DAY!! Tools will be flying off the tables from 9am–3pm, so make sure to get to the Shoreline Tool Library early if you're looking for something special 🛠️✨

P.S. If you see someone taking pictures/videos with a nametag that reads, "Anna Marie", and you're happy to get a silly, stock photo-esque photo taken of yourself/your group, please give her a shout and a wave! I'm very shy to ask folks, but I love capturing goofy, feel-good photos🫶

We'll see you tomorrow for the Fall 2025 Tool Sale at the Shoreline Tool Library! It's looking like a big one, and it might be a little chilly, so be sure to bring a jacket and your love for tools 🛠️
Tools are organized on rows of tables in front of the Shoreline Tool Library. Someone is holding a basket and walking by the tables. There is a sign for the Shoreline Tool Library and the Tool Sale above them. The text in between the rows reads, "TOMORROW!".

KidVantage helps families and their children by providing essential goods to families who are experiencing the stresses of economic insecurity, systemic inequities, and/or family disruption. While they are taking a break during October, we are still accepting donations for them! ⬇️
seattlereconomy.bsky.social
We recently received over 400 lbs of strollers, clothes, and toys on behalf of KidVantage! These donations will make a huge impact on the families KidVantage supports, and we're so glad we have the opportunity to increase their donation window through our open hours at the Shoreline Tool Library 🧸🫶

The "S4" classes have been funded by the City of Shoreline City Hall’s Environmental Mini-Grant Program. Because of that, we are able to offer each class for $10. Please email [email protected] if the $10 fee is a barrier, and we will waive it.
