It's a funny feeling when, after decades of searching for my place in my tech/web career, I FINALLY end up feeling like I'm in my element. You have no idea how good I feel in my new career since I'm no longer a web developer.

So, who got sick after Hackfest? 🙋 Meeeeeee! Urgh! A whole week of sinus congestion, a stuffy nose 🤧, and terrible sleep—it was absolutely awful. Conflu was terrible! My week got completely scrapped as I turned into a somnolent couch potato, fighting off a relentless headache. But hey, at least today I'm feeling way better! Better enough to drag myself out and vote in my city's municipal election.

It's been two weeks (already! 🤯) since I started my new job, and damn do I love it! OK, I end up a bit K.O. on my couch in the evening (but not for long, because Hackfest is coming up, you know!!). I'm learning a lot of things, and yes my brain ends up mush in the evening, but....I really love it!
