Well, my Waldorf Iridium Desktop has been dead for a while, but after emailing with tech support and installing a not-quite-released OS it has come back to life! No crashes in the past hour+ and I've made three new patches.

Apparently a now fully functioning Waldorf Iridium Desktop synthesizer with headphones attached as well as a CME Xkey Air 25 keyboard (via USB) along with a neon light sculpture next to it.

Post a non-religious photo you think of as holy.
Black sand beach on the east coast of Iceland, late November, in the grey-clouded cold. There’s a large monolithic rock tower just off the beach in the water on the left, and on the right there are numerous small runoff waterfalls flowing down from a small cliff separating the land from the beach. The largest of these is in the foreground, and the runoff has almost but not quite made it to the ocean. The beach, cliff, and ocean go off miles into the distance eventually fading into the distant fog. There’s not a human in sight, just mossy highland, short cliff, narrow black sand beach, monolith, ocean, and fog. For endless miles.

The Light Brigade - Fight The Future magnet on my fridge, right under the Frigidaire emblem. Round and slightly smaller than palm-sized. Also, three magnetic control knobs (obviously required to operate the fridge LOL).

Yeah, this is <with> a purifier running. Was up in the purple 150s for a bit yesterday. Note that while I was tapping this in on my phone it went up to 112 LOL
IQAir display saying breathing in my apartment is not a good idea at this time. “Your indoor air quality is unsuitable.” Different screen on the IQAir. On the left my indoor air quality is 110, which is pretty bad. On the right is an outdoor measurement of 82 from somewhere in my neighborhood, which is merely not at all good.

I’m not a member of the “large originals” set either but a few months ago I got one of Dr. Brock’s 6" Mars paintings. It wasn’t necessarily inexpensive but it was pretty reasonable. And there’s prints too, which <are> affordable. Really happy with it.

Now Playing: Yes, Close to the Edge

Just got the five CD, one Blu-ray, one LP Close to the Edge box set. Played the Steven Wilson remix of the album, now playing the two-disc live show from 1972 at The Rainbow in London. Excellent live versions, and pretty much my favorite album of all time.

I got the Valles Marineris one and it’s fantastic!

Also in the photo are some stickers that were included in the package and a certificate of authenticity.

Black sand beach on the east coast of Iceland. In the foreground on the right is a low cliff, mossy grass on top, small waterfalls along the edge, and on the black sand below short “rivers” of water snaking towards the sea but none quite making it all the way there yet. A little ways off on the left there’s a square black monolith of eroded stone in the water but touching the shore, maybe twice as tall as the low cliff. The narrow beach stretches off into the distant fog, miles away down the coast. It is utterly silent except for the small waves reaching the shore, with no evidence of human presence anywhere in the universe.

Well, 24 hours later, the Eno stream has ended. Six showings of the Eno movie (I saw five of them), some interviews both with Eno and with some of the filmmakers, and a number of other things as well. Was amazing.
The Eno stream end screen on my iPad. Just the word "Eno." in block letters in white on a black background, with the word "Bye!" in small block letters above and the same width as the period, with generative graphics flowing behind the text. Watched the first one on my iPad, then cast the two evening ones in my time zone to my TV, skipped the 1:30am one, alas, then watched the last two this morning on my iPad again, the first on in headphones, the second just over the speakers.

Just received my CME H4MIDI WC. This thing is really good, and about half the size I was expecting (which is good!). It's a USB Host MIDI interface, two in and two out, but it also does Bluetooth (optional) and USB devices as well.
